Creating Brave Space for Your Team

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is an essential part of a c-suite leader's day-to-day life. CPD enables executives to develop new skills, gain new knowledge, and stay up to date with the latest industry trends. In today's rapidly changing business landscape, CPD is more important than ever before.

As a leadership coach, I encourage my clients to make CPD a priority. By investing time and resources into their professional development, c-suite leaders can enhance their leadership abilities and make more informed decisions.

In Micky ScottBey Jones' poem, "Invitation to Brave Space," she highlights the importance of creating a space where individuals can learn, grow, and work together to become better versions of themselves. This poem is particularly relevant to leaders who must create a safe and supportive environment where their team members can flourish.

Together we will create brave space

Because there is no such thing as a “safe space”

We exist in the real world

We all carry scars and we have all caused wounds.

In this space

We seek to turn down the volume of the outside world,

We amplify voices that fight to be heard elsewhere,

We call each other to more truth and love

We have the right to start somewhere and continue to grow.

We have the responsibility to examine what we think we know.

We will not be perfect.

This space will not be perfect.

It will not always be what we wish it to be

But

It will be our brave space together,

and

We will work on it side by side

Let’s talk

As a leadership coach, I help c-suite leaders to create a brave space where their team members feel valued, heard, and supported. Through CPD and the creation of a safe and supportive environment, c-suite leaders can help their teams achieve their full potential and create a culture of continuous improvement. Let me help you put a CPD programme in place for you and one for your team.
